Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of violinettech.ai and its subdomains, NeuroViolet, VIOLINET VENDORS, the Violet Vending Machine and the account system inside VIOLINET OS (together, "the network"). The network is run by VIOLINET TECH, Austin, Texas ("we"). By creating an account or buying something you agree to them.
Accounts
- You must be 13 or older, and 18 or older to sell, earn affiliate commission or receive payouts.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person or studio per account. Usernames that impersonate someone else will be changed or removed.
What you post
- You keep ownership of anything you upload. You give us a license to host, display, resize and deliver it so the network can work, and to show it in listings and promotion of the network while it is up.
- Only post what you have the right to post. No content that infringes someone's copyright or trademark, no sexual content involving minors, no non-consensual imagery of real people, no malware, and nothing illegal where you or we are.
- AI-generated work is welcome. Label it when a listing asks, and follow the license of the model you used.
Takedowns
If something on the network infringes your rights, email us with a link to it, what it infringes, and a way to reach you. We remove infringing material and close repeat-infringer accounts.
Purchases
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Digital goods are delivered as a private download after payment clears.
Limits
The network is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We can suspend accounts that break these terms. Texas law governs these terms. If we change them we post the new date here, and material changes are emailed to account holders.
Seller Agreement
This applies on top of the Terms of Service when you sell through VIOLINET VENDORS, in any category: apps and tools, 3D assets and packs, models and checkpoints, LoRAs, art prints, physical items and 3D prints, and services or commissions.
Your listings
- You confirm you own, or are licensed to sell, everything in a listing, including textures, fonts, scanned material and training data.
- Listings must describe the product accurately: file formats, software versions, poly counts, base model and trigger words for LoRAs, materials and sizes for physical items.
- New seller accounts are reviewed before the first listing goes live.
Money
- You keep 85% of each sale. The 15% platform fee covers hosting, delivery and payment processing.
- If a buyer came through an affiliate link, the affiliate's commission is paid from the platform fee, not from your share.
- Payouts go through Stripe to the account you connect, once the refund window on a sale has closed.
- You are responsible for your own income tax. We collect and remit sales tax or VAT on sales where the law requires the marketplace to do so.
Importing and packaging
- You can ask us to import listings from other sites where you sell (for example CivitAI, Hugging Face or Gumroad). We only import from accounts you sign in to or links you give us, and you confirm the listings are yours.
- If you buy packaging or publishing for other marketplaces (for example Fab, Superhive or CGTrader), we prepare files and listing text to that marketplace's rules on your behalf. Your relationship with that marketplace, and its terms, stay yours.
Physical goods and services
For physical items you ship the order, give a tracking number, and handle returns under the policy in your listing. For services and commissions, agree scope and delivery dates with the buyer in writing through the network before starting.
Leaving
You can unlist anything at any time. Buyers keep access to what they already bought. We can remove listings or close seller accounts that break this agreement, and hold payouts tied to fraud or chargebacks.
Affiliate Terms
- Approved affiliates earn 20% of the sale price (before tax) on purchases made through their link or code, anywhere on the network.
- A click is tracked for 30 days. The last affiliate link clicked before purchase gets the credit.
- Every account also gets a referral code. You earn 5% of what creators you bring in sell, paid from the platform fee.
- No buying through your own link, no paid ads bidding on our brand names, no spam, and no claims about products that are not true. Disclose that you earn commission when you promote.
- Commission on refunded or charged-back orders is reversed. Payouts go through Stripe once a commission is 30 days old.
- Applications are reviewed. We can end an affiliate account that breaks these rules; commission already earned honestly is still paid.
Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Account: email, username, display name, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), profile text and links you add.
- Selling and affiliates: the categories you sell in, your listings, sales and commission records.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the order, amount and country, not your card details.
- Cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a referral cookie for 30 days when you arrive through an affiliate or referral link. No advertising trackers.
How it is used
To run your account, deliver purchases, pay sellers and affiliates, stop fraud, and email you about your account. Newsletters and launch emails only go to people who ticked the box, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe. We do not sell personal data.
Where it lives
Data is stored on Cloudflare (accounts, uploads) and Stripe (payments), and the main site is hosted by Hostinger. Those providers process it for us under their own security terms.
Your choices
Email us to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. Sales records we are legally required to keep for tax purposes are kept for as long as the law says, then deleted.
Licenses
Standard asset license
Unless a listing says otherwise, buying an asset pack, model, material or print file gives you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to:
- use it in unlimited personal and commercial projects: renders, films, games, apps, client work, print;
- modify it however you like.
You may not resell, share or redistribute the files themselves, as-is or modified, including inside another asset pack or template, or upload them to another marketplace. Game and app builds that ship the assets in compiled form are fine.
LoRAs and model weights
- The creator sets the license on each LoRA or checkpoint listing, and it is shown on the listing. If none is set, the standard license above applies to images you generate, and the weights themselves may not be redistributed.
- A LoRA is also bound by the license of the base model it was trained on (for example, some base models forbid commercial use of outputs). Check the base model listed before selling generated work.
- Creators uploading a LoRA confirm they had the right to use their training images.
Open-source downloads
Open-source models and tools mirrored on the network keep their original license (MIT, Apache-2.0, OpenRAIL and so on), linked from each download. We add no restrictions and claim no ownership.
Apps
Paid apps come with a single-user license for the machines you personally use, unless the listing gives a team or site license. Apps published as open source keep the license in their repository.
Refunds & tax
- Digital goods: if a file is broken, missing or not as described, email us within 14 days and we fix it or refund you. Because downloads cannot be returned, we do not refund for change of mind.
- Subscriptions and credits: cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the paid period. Unused compute credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase.
- Physical items and services: the seller's return policy on the listing applies, and we step in if a seller does not respond within 7 days.
- Tax: prices are shown in USD. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies to your location.
